Benro announces the MeFOTO Transfunctional Travel Tripod

A transfunctional travel tripod? yes it’s transfunctional; it can be converted to function as a monopod, it only weighs about 3.6lb (1.6kg), and it folds down to about 15.4 inches (40cm).

Sounds impressive considering it extends to 61.6 inches (1.5 metres).

Other design features include dual-angle legs, a recessed center column hook for adding weight to steady the tripod, an integral bubble level, and a Q-series ballhead with separate head and 360-degree pan locks that accepts an Arca Swiss quick release plate.

The MeFOTO travel tripod comes in five colours:
